CTO / VP Engineering
"Our roadmap keeps growing. Hiring takes six months we don't have. I need senior engineers who can ship from week one — not juniors who need mentoring."
We place senior engineers immediately
Startup founder (Series A/B)
"We need to scale the team fast for a product push. But I can't commit to permanent headcount when the scope might change in 3 months."
Flexible models with no lock-in
Product or engineering lead
"We have a specialist gap — we need expertise in AI, mobile, or a specific stack — but it's not enough to justify a full-time hire."
We cover specialist roles precisely
This is not staffing

The difference between
a body shop and a
software company.

Most "team augmentation" is a recruitment agency with a different name. You get a CV, an introduction, and then you're on your own. We work differently. Every engineer we place comes with Diadraw's operational infrastructure behind them — account management, technical oversight, and the guarantee that if anything changes, we keep delivery stable. You get the flexibility of a contractor and the reliability of a long-term partner.

✕ Typical staffing
Individual freelancers, no backing
You absorb all attrition risk
No continuity if someone leaves
No technical oversight provided
CV sent, agency disappears
✦ Diadraw Team Enhancement
+Established company behind every role
+Continuity guaranteed if team changes
+Dedicated account management
+Technical oversight included
+Long-term partnership approach
How we work

Five things that don't change
regardless of role or team size.

01
Senior engineers. No exceptions.

Every specialist we place has proven commercial experience building production systems at scale. We don't place recent graduates or unproven developers regardless of demand. The standard doesn't move.

02
Your team, your processes.

Our engineers adopt your tools, communication channels, sprint structure, and coding standards. They don't bring a separate process — they integrate into yours. You manage them directly, with full transparency and control over priorities and delivery.

03
You vet every candidate.

Before anyone joins your team, you interview them — technically and culturally. Your internal engineers run the technical assessment. We don't place anyone without your sign-off. You own the decision entirely.

04
Continuity, even when things change.

If an engineer moves on, we manage the transition — knowledge transfer, replacement, overlap. Unlike freelancer arrangements where you absorb all the risk of someone leaving, we keep delivery stable throughout. That's what a company behind every placement means in practice.

05
Scale freely, without the overhead.

Add a specialist when your roadmap demands it, scale down when a phase ends. No redundancy processes, no notice periods, no recruitment pipeline to manage. The elasticity of external resource with the quality of a trusted, known partner.

How it works

From conversation to
contributing engineer in days.

A fast, deliberate process that puts you in control from the first conversation to the first commit.

01
Discovery call
30 minutes. We understand your stack, team structure, the gap you need to fill, and the kind of engineer who'd thrive in your culture.
02
Candidate shortlist
Within days — not weeks — we present a shortlist of senior engineers matched to your technical requirements, timezone, and way of working.
03
Your technical interview
You or your internal team run the technical assessment. We provide background context. You decide who joins — no pressure, no timeline.
04
Onboarding in days
Access granted, tools set up, context shared. Our engineers are experienced at fast onboarding — most are delivering meaningful work within their first sprint.
05
Ongoing, with oversight
Monthly check-ins with your account lead. You manage the day-to-day. We manage continuity, quality, and make sure the engagement evolves with your needs.
Engagement models

Two models. Both flexible.

Choose the structure that fits how your team works and how predictably you can plan ahead.

Most common
Dedicated retainer
Monthly commitment

A dedicated engineer or team on a monthly retainer. Predictable cost, predictable capacity. They're yours for the month — in your sprints, your standups, your Slack. Best for ongoing product work or long-running phases.

Ongoing product development with predictable roadmap
Consistent sprint-based team working rhythm
Multi-month engagements with quarterly review checkpoints
Teams of 2+ engineers working as a cohesive unit
Starting from
€4,000/engineer/month
Scales with seniority and specialisation · no hidden fees
Time & material
Pay as you go

Billed by actual hours worked — logged transparently and reviewed monthly. Maximum flexibility for phases where demand is variable, or when you need to ramp a specialist up fast for a specific deliverable.

Variable demand — sprint peaks or seasonal scale-ups
Specific time-boxed deliverables with a defined end point
Exploratory phases where scope isn't yet locked in
Organisations that prefer actuals billing to fixed monthly cost
Starting from
€95/hour
Transparent time tracking · monthly invoice with full breakdown
Not sure which fits? Start with a discovery call — we'll recommend the right structure once we understand your team, roadmap, and how predictably you can plan.
Roles we cover

Specialists, not generalists.

Every role we place is senior-level with production experience in their domain. We don't stretch one person across disciplines they don't know deeply.

Frontend engineers

Component architecture, performance, accessibility, complex UI/UX implementation. Ships production-quality code, not prototypes.

ReactVue.jsNext.jsTypeScript
Backend engineers

APIs, data architecture, integrations, performance at scale. Experienced with production systems handling real load — not just side projects.

Node.jsPHPPythonJavaC++/C#
Mobile engineers

Native iOS and Android development or cross-platform. Complex apps that require real platform knowledge — animations, camera, sensors, offline capability.

iOS / SwiftAndroid / KotlinReact Native
AI & machine learning engineers

LLM integrations, ML pipelines, recommendation engines, document intelligence, fine-tuning, RAG architectures. Not AI hype — working systems in production.

PythonLangChainOpenAIRAGVector DBs
Cloud & DevOps engineers

Infrastructure, CI/CD, containerisation, cloud architecture, reliability engineering. Makes your system deployable, observable, and resilient at scale.

AWSGCPDockerTerraformCI/CD
IoT & embedded specialists

Sensor integration, real-time data streams, edge computing, and hardware-adjacent software. For projects that sit between the physical and the digital.

Common questions

What teams usually ask us

"
How is this different from just hiring a freelancer?

Three things: seniority (we only place engineers with commercial production experience), continuity (if an engineer moves on, we manage the replacement and knowledge transfer — you don't absorb that risk), and oversight (a Diadraw account lead stays involved throughout, not just at placement). You get the flexibility of external resource with the stability of a company behind it.

"
How long does onboarding actually take?

Our engineers are experienced at joining new teams and stacks. Most are in your tools, attending standups, and making their first PRs within the first week. The formal introduction — from discovery call to signed agreement — typically takes 5–10 working days depending on your interview process.

"
Can we bring them on permanently if it works well?

We don't prohibit that — and it has happened. If the relationship works well for both sides and permanent employment makes sense, we're not going to stand in the way. We'd rather you keep working with someone we placed than lose the relationship. We'd discuss terms if it came to that.

"
What if it's not working after the first month?

We'd rather know early. If a placement isn't landing — technically or culturally — we address it directly: either resolve the specific issue or find a better fit. We don't hold clients to long commitments they regret. Monthly retainers have a 30-day notice period. T&M engagements can be paused any time.
